Over time, new discoveries are found, one of which being Ditra. Ditra is an underlayment for tile that is adhered to a surface before the tile is installed. It is used for waterproofing under the tile. This is very helpful for tile installments to last longer than ever, as it drains any water that seeps through the grout of the tile, and no longer allows for the build up of water under tile. It is used for outdoor installments, and sometimes for bathrooms. Ditra is another further step we take to make sure that our installments last a lifetime.
